Who we are
We are the solution you have been looking for. We are contractors who provide mechanical, auto-electrical, hydraulics, air conditioning and many other services, diagnosing and repairs to a wide variety of heavy machinery and gear, including but not limited to construction equipment, forklifts, cranes, material handlers, farming equipment, generators and more.
With all the knowledge and experience in our team, we are sure to get you moving again.
Johan Heyns, the founder of the company, qualified as a heavy diesel mechanic in 2005, after which he went on to repairing and diagnosing machinery in the field, on the mines, in the mines, on top of the mountains and in many more strange and wonderful places. This taught him the skills to diagnose – and to get the machinery fixed no matter what!
This then led him to field service foreman and then workshop manager, where he trained over 200 apprentices. This is also where Johan became involved with attaching various attachments to machinery, often having to modify hydraulic systems to make the attachments work at their optimal level, without causing damage to the machinery.
During this time Johan designed an oil decanting system, which is good for the environment, and the safety of others. This won him a place in the safety excellence awards hosted in London in 2011. His workshop won best practice – 3 years in a row, for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 19001.
With all this knowledge and expertise, Johan immigrated to New Zealand in 2017, and started his own business, servicing the Bay of Plenty and surrounding areas.
What we do
We do whatever our customer needs us to. Need something repaired – we come to your site, diagnose, and repair, and get your plant up and running in no time.
We also love special projects – Have a new machine? Want it set up with all the extra bells and whistles? We can do that for you. From front and reverse cameras, to forklift proximity lights, to blue tooth cameras on cranes, you name it, we will find a solution for you.
We also do preventative maintenance, servicing is part of the job too, and we advise you if we think something needs to be done before you have a breakdown, prevention is better than cure – also a lot less expensive!
Sustainability
We care a lot about the environment and as a result we are always looking at how we can do things better.
We have a 100% paperless system, providing you with a detailed breakdown of our services, with photos so that you can see what you are paying for, without damaging the forests.
We dispose of used oils and fluids with our supplier – in an environmentally friendly manner, therefore used oils from your machinery are removed from site, we strive to leave no trace behind – one less headache for our customers.
